About Rob Carrick

Rob Carrick has been a personal finance columnist for The Globe and Mail for 12 years and has been writing about investing, business and economics for more than two decades. Rob writes three columns a week for The Globe, and he's on Facebook and Twitter).

Rob is the author of the book How Not to Move In With Your Parents: The Young Person's Complete Guide to Financial Empowerment, which will be published in spring 2012. He is also the author of Rob Carrick's Guide to What's Good, Bad and Downright Awful in Canadian Investments Today, and several other books. Rob has a BA in political science from York University, an honours BA in journalism from Carleton University and is a graduate of the Canadian Securities Course. He lives in Ottawa with his wife and two sons.
